A Little About Me...

A longtime Portland resident with a passion for the city’s distinctive architecture and the outdoors, Mila brings more than 15 years of sales experience and a reputation of honesty, trustworthiness, and superior negotiation skills to her clients.

Originally from Russia with most years living in Tallinn, Estonia, the collapse of the USSR and ensuing uncertainty brought her to Portland in 1992. Fast-forward to now and she couldn't be happier in our unique city. Patient, genuine, and committed to her client's success, she offers her clients invaluable insight into the lifestyle afforded by each neighborhood, along with a keen eye for interior design and a knack for seeing potential in every property.

When not holding an open house or searching for the perfect property for a client, Mila enjoys time traveling with her family, playing tennis and golf, cycling, and skiing. Mila continues to serve in the Portland Metro Area and beyond, using her extensive knowledge of the region and unparalleled negotiation skills.

Simply put, I loved my experience with Mila! As a first-time homebuyer, I had no idea how involved this was going to be. These old Portland homes have so many issues and she seemed to know about anything that arose or who exactly to call for specifics. Asbestos removal, illegal sewage systems, total kitchen demolitions, easements, you name it! She never told me what to do but she always pointed out the pros and cons of each place to consider. These usually involved things I would never have thought of and it always helped my husband and I arrive at a decision. Paperwork was sent to our iPhones for easy electronic signature (so convenient!!!) and she was very flexible when meeting with us to see homes day and night. She is extremely professional but she has this hidden little hardcore side to her that I loved so much. Kind of like having a high-powered lawyer representing you before going to court, I had zero worries about her negotiating on our behalf. She knew when things were overpriced for the area, even down to the block. She coached us on what she thought was fair and what our next moves should be. When we were losing hope in the hunt, she was hopeful and patient. I absolutely would have settled on something that wasn't quite right for our family if it wasn't for her gentle guidance. I serve as Principal Broker for Moran Homes Real Estate Group -  a Portland-based team of tenacious and seasoned real estate agents with a combined 25 years of experience. I lead the charge alongside my nephew and business partner, Matt Moran.

I’ve lived with my family in Southeast Portland’s Colonial Heights for many years. I love it here. I’m a short walk from the restaurants on Division Street (like KaTi Thai!) and my dog Bella likes walking me through the labyrinthine rose gardens of Ladd’s Addition. Plus, I can walk to Cinemagic – one of Portland’s classic, charming movie theaters. I’ve found my niche and I’m passionate about helping others find theirs. 

This city has so many neat spots that new-to-Portland residents may not know about. Even lifelong Portlanders can get stuck in a rut and forget about the variety of activities (and taste treats) our city has to offer. This is where I can help. My Background

After playing Division 1 tennis at University of Oregon, I worked as a tennis pro at multiple clubs across the country. The job brought together my devotion to the game and love of working with people, but wasn’t the right path as I raised my two daughters, Molly and Megan. 14 years ago I found my passion in real estate, where I could use my competitive spirit in negotiations and expertise in coaching to take my clients through the home buying and selling process.
